The Four Pillars

The primary mission of the Servants of Merciful Love is four-fold.

Intercession

To serve as conduits of God’s Merciful Love for souls in need of His healing graces including those who are underprivileged and marginalized in our society. To accompany those who are nearing death and intercede for their spiritual readiness and protection.

Sacrifice

To be willing to sacrifice and do penance on behalf of those entrusted to our spiritual care. To willingly and joyfully ‘stand in the gap’ on behalf of those we serve — calling upon God’s mercy and praying for their openness to receive His healing graces.

Formation

To engage in formation and educational efforts regarding matters of faith, spirituality, ethics, justice, trauma and inner healing of past wounds.

Reparation & Consolation

To console and make reparation to the Heart of Jesus — wounded by blasphemies and injustices committed against humanity throughout the world.

“It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”

— Galatians 2:20
